What you do.
Run the bottles through the dishwasher and let them sit out and open overnight. (I had to because the kids who used these at my son's party were covered in cheetos) Fill the bottles with the wheat.

Today we did a science day since I am such a jerk and forgot about Art with C! I was telling L that we were going to do an Experiment. We were going to learn about ice. He smiled and thought this was cool, and then ran upstairs to get dressed. He asked me if he needed safety glasses and I said, probably not and he looked sad so I told him if he really wanted them he could get them. (His sunglasses lasted all about two minutes)
Pipe Cleaners, Coffee Filters, Water Spray Bottles, Clothes Pins, and Markers.

Now Fold.

Done.

I cut out their favorite parts. Sometimes it is a little kid or a number or a character. Then I cut half circles out of the waste. I slit the moon shape and the bottom of the character and make paper dolls or paper people.
Then we play with them.
Then we store them in a pencil box for a winter day because it is a cool reminder of our birthdays and something easy to pull out. Cool right? I have done this every birthday so we have one big box of paper people with stands! It is really fun especially for me because there is no real prep work for this one!Amanda W said...
