White Mud

Here is what you need:
A bar of soap
A grater
A tub/pan
Loose toilet paper

Start by grating 1/2 a bar of soap.

Then tear the toilet paper up

Then add soap.

Then add water.

Let the kids squeeze, manipulate, and play with their mud as long as they like.
The more they play with it, the better it will be.

Good Clean Fun!

Easy Toddler Christmas Idea #6

Get that aggression out and make these super easy, cute and fun Tissue Paper Pointsettias.
You need a green crayon, yellow paper, red tissue paper and glue.

Start by glueing the center yellow on and then add 5 glue lines for the petals.
Let the kids tear up the red into little or big pieces and glue on each line.
Then color the white spaces where there is no petals with the green crayon.
 More tearing.
Here they are finished.  The kids didn't want to color the green parts so I did it while they were drying.
The cool part is that as the glue dries the petals start to shrivel up a bit and they look more and more real.
I didn't take a picture of the dried ones but trust me they look so great with the mix of Christmas cards we have taped to the back of the front door. :)

Cherry Blossom Trees

So we talked about how spring is coming and one of my favorite things about spring is the Cherry Blossom Trees in Washington, DC.  I have yet to see them in person but someday my husband will take me. :)

Cut out a trunk and glue it on and then cut several squares out of tissue paper.
Glue several dots on the background of the paper and then let the kids crumble the tissue paper and glue it on.
It is a fun way to release stress! :)

They are so cute too!  Scroll up to see the finished product!

Three Little Pigs

I opted to print it in black and white and color it myself, laminate it and then hot glue it on craft sticks so the kids could act it out. This picture is before I did all of that!

Then we talked about how pigs are dirty and messy and PINK! So we made tissue paper pigs today as the project!  Here is the shape I used, I just cut it and traced it on cardstock!

Then we glued Tissue Paper to it.

Then I mounted it on grass.

I did it this way so I could use it again for Farm Week in a few weeks. I also added a googly eye to this pig, but forgot to take a picture of it after it was added!
