Shaving Cream

So my sister in law and the kids came over for lunch and fun stuff. I thought shaving cream would be a good idea since the age group for shaving cream usually is 2-6. Well she and I stressed a little too much about the shaving cream being yucky and not to eat it and the boys wouldn't touch it. They both FREAKED out. Then I gave up and pulled out the squeegie to clean it up and that is what the boys preferred. Cleaning it up! Hahaha Here are our traumatized boys before the squeegies...

and after...I will be doing this again, P.S. DO NOT USE SCENTED cream yuck!

Marble Painting

I have 3 ways of doing this, so you will just have to wait and see the others. This one I used to do when I babysat when I was 17. List of ingredients...

2 pie tins, 2 sheets of card stock, food coloring, shaving cream, plastic forks.
Spray shaving cream into pie tins with the card stock inside.

With a dropper or food coloring tube drop dye all over shaving cream.
Stir with fork.
Like so.
Pull out of tins and scrape off remaining shaving cream. Let air dry and you have marble paper. I cut Letters out of our dried marble paper. The green one turned out better because he didn't get dye on the paper just on the shaving cream.
We did this about 6 times. It was quick, fun and totally different!
I love shaving cream by the way! Especially when its 50 cents at Walmart!

Note: We used forks because food coloring stains and is on your fingers FOREVER...

This fine stuff gets EVERYTHING out. Crayon, Pen, Marker, Permanet Marker. Do NOT add water, just apply to ruined area and scrub and scrape!

Creams that are in tubes or tubs are commonly used with a shaving brush to produce a rich lather (most often used in wet shaving).

The cream itself commonly consists of a mixture of oil, soaps, surfactants, and water or alcohol, manufactured under carefully controlled conditions to ensure proper pH and consistency.
