Pink Math

First I made a graph, and then colored directions.  The gray represents the color white.

Then I gave the kids Q-Tips to apply the number of dots.

Then mix to see what color it makes.

She was actually more excited than this picture shows. :)

I left 3 columns blank so they could make up their own pink recipe.

This was very fun, and they learned that a little red goes a long way!

Snowflake Garland

How many of you remember doing this as a kid?  Well today we did it 3 different ways.

You need: Kid Scissors, Paper, Hole Punches and Yarn.

Fold the paper into a square then a triangle, round the shortest end of the triangle with scissors and cut.  My 3 year old was good at this, my 2 year old was better at hole punching.

I forgot to take a picture of the garland, but basically you string them together and make garland with all of the different sized snowflakes.  Pretty Cute!
